50 minutes out of 168 hours in your week that is just for you.

For some, that sounds nice, like a vacation. For others, that sounds vulnerable and a bit scary. That is okay… My hope is that you allow yourself the space to focus on you and just you, whatever that looks like. My approach is unique to the individual and we will work collaboratively to create a treatment plan that fits your personality. My greatest joy in the therapeutic process is helping others connect with themselves so they may uncover their innate ability to live their most meaningful, most fulfilled life.

Some things to note about my process: I believe that the relationship we share is the most important part of therapy. I bring my personality into sessions through humor, validation, education, and empowerment. I do not come to sessions with a worksheet or agenda, and homework will be chosen together. I believe that you get out of therapy what you put in, and I will meet you where are.

I work with couples of all genders, identities, and sexualities. I am LGBTQIA affirming, sex positive, poly/ open/ non-monogamy affirming, and enjoy working collaboratively with you and your partner or bestie to discover deeper insights to your relational dynamics. Let’s explore your values, needs, and desires. Let’s set boundaries and heal from trauma. Let’s talk attachment. Let’s discover clarity and develop the skills you’ve been looking for.

What is EMDR?

Thanks for asking! EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proved effective for individuals with trauma and various psychological challenges. This form of therapy is wonderful for helping folks process distressing memories, reducing their levels of disturbance which allows for healthier coping mechanisms.

What does that look like for me, though?

First, we will get to know each other. Ensuring that you feel safe in the room and in the relationship with me is of upmost importance.

Once a supportive environment is established, we will tailor the one-on-one sessions to you as an individual. You will be fully resourced with coping skills, self-care strategies, and a supportive space for your unique healing.
